Roshd filmfest kicks off

The Roshd International Film Festival has kicked off.

The 52nd edition of the event launched on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Tehran.

The secretariat of the festival has received 2473 international and 987 national works.

A lineup of 104 international work were selected to vie at the International competition section.

Founded in 1963, the Roshd International Film Festival is Iran’s first and longest standing global film event.

The festival’s main goal is to exchange educational films globally with the main theme being science, education, and ethics.

The newest edition of the event is currently underway from November 28 – December 6, 2022.
